This marks a steep increase from the €260 ticket price for spectators in Rome three years ago.
For those interested in attending the practice sessions, tickets are more affordable. Adult tickets for Tuesday and Wednesday will be priced at €89, while children’s tickets will cost €20. On Thursday, which includes the opening ceremony, tickets will rise to €179 for adults and €30 for children. While these prices represent record highs for a Ryder Cup hosted in Europe, they remain below the $750 (£555) cost for last year’s event at Bethpage in New York, where Europe claimed victory over the US.
Richard Atkinson, the chief Ryder Cup officer, explained that the price increase reflects the event’s growth and changes in the world since the last European-hosted tournament. He emphasized the effort to keep the event accessible, noting that practice day tickets start at €89, with junior tickets beginning at €20. Atkinson described the pricing as proportionate to the event’s global stature, calling it one of the world’s major sporting events.

The Ryder Cup is returning to Ireland for the first time since Europe’s victory in 2006 at Straffan, County Kildare.
